Overview
Woodcrafts Galore Pty Limited is a company that specialises in manufacturing wooden products. We only use solid wood and try our best to avoid plastic, except when used to package our products before delivery. Our products are hand-finished so no two products will be the same. Sometimes, we import unfinished solid wood products and finish them in our workshop.
Wood, by nature, is unique.
Whilst we undertake to ensure that we supply our customers with a quality product, we cannot guarantee that the item you receive will be the same as the images you see online. Wood colours, grain patterns, and colour variations will always differ. This is the nature of wood and it is this difference that makes each product unique.
Prices of our products may change from time to time depending on external market factors.
Returns Eligibility
We accept returns within 7 days from the date of receiving your purchase.
The product must be unused, in its original packaging and in the same condition you received it in.
If 7 days are exceeded, or if the product is damaged, the purchase will not be eligible for a return.
Return Procedure
To initiate a return, please follow these steps:

- Contact us at info@woodcraftsgalore.co.za.

- Provide us with your order number, the description of the item you want to return and the reason for the return. Also, include in the email at least three photos of the item you want to return.

- We will then acknowledge your email and direct you on how to proceed further.

- Once your return is received and inspected, we will inform you via email if the return was approved or rejected, and if rejected, we will inform you why it was rejected.

- If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment.
Returns Shipping
Refunds will not include the cost of shipping the item to us. Customers will have to ship the item to us at their cost.

- The item must be securely packaged to avoid damage in transit. The item must be trackable during transit. The customer will need to provide us with a tracking number.

- At least three photos of the item must be emailed to us of the item before it is packaged and shipped.
Defective Items
If a defective item is received, please follow the above-mentioned returns procedure. The return of a defective item must also comply with the Returns Eligibility clause. After an inspection of the item is conducted and if it is found that the fault is on our side, we will cover all shipping costs and will process a full refund.
Order Cancellations
Please contact us as soon as possible. If the order has not been shipped, we will process a full refund. If the order has already been shipped, please comply with the Returns Procedure. The clause on returns shipping is mandatory.
Product Use
Cutting Boards
Cutting boards must be cleaned with soap and water and lightly rinsed off. Do not soak or submerge the cutting board into water. Treat cutting boards regularly with natural food-grade oils. Regular treatment will enhance the natural look of the board and will improve its lifespan.
Woodwax – Natural Cutting Board Treatment Oils.
Woodwax is made up of bee-friendly beeswax and food-safe mineral oils. It is safe to apply on cutting boards and any other wooden kitchen item. You can even apply it to leather.
Woodwax is safe for hand use.
Upon purchase of a cutting board, Woodwax has already been applied to your board. Allow the board to soak the oil treatment.
Upon purchase, the board is ready for use.
Ideally, apply Woodwax after washing the board.
Signs
All signs are made of solid pine wood, at least 19-20mm thick.
All signs come with hooks for wall hanging.
Engraving is at least 2mm deep into the wood.
Wood Engraving
Our products are laser engraved, at least between 1 and 3mm deep into the wood. We can also engrave in colour.
If a customer requires custom or personalised engraving, the customer will need to approve an initial design. Once approved either by email or WhatsApp, the customer will need to make payment for the item. Once payment reflects, the engraving is completed and the item shipped.
A personalised engraved item is non-returnable and non-refundable the Returns Policy will not apply.
Communication with us
We commit to respond to all communications, either be email or WhatsApp, within a 24-hour period.
Liability
In no event will our owners/directors, employees, or service providers be liable to you or any third party for any direct, indirect, consequential, exemplary, incidental, special, or punitive damages.

Competitions
- Any employee or person related to the owners of Woodcrafts Galore is not eligible to enter any competition.
- Winners will be communicated on our Facebook page only.
- Winners must contact Woodcrafts Galore within seven days of the winner being announced and claim their prize by WhatsApp on 064 511 6968 or by email to info@woodcraftsgalore.co.za or on Facebook.
- Prizes are not exchangeable.
- Competition T’s & C’s may be updated as and when required.
